Summit West Ski Racing Program - Saturdays/Sundays
Led by long-time USSA/FIS delegate Dean Tonkin, the West ARC program concentrates largely on tactical race training (gate training courses). If you're looking for an emphasis on ski race training, West ARC is the way to go!
Ten weeks! Learn to race while developing a solid foundation for your skiing progression and discover if the Alpine Winter Olympics might be in your future. We recommend renting or buying a pair of race or carving skis, bindings, boots, poles and a helmet. Contact us for discounts for participating BOTH days.
This program participates in two race events. Athletes are not required to race (small race fee is extra), however, the program does not conduct regular programming on these days. Coaches guide their athletes through the race day.

Alpental Ski Racing Program - Saturdays/Sundays
If you are looking for an all mountain program that uses race focused skill development along with solid, all-round technical on-piste skills, this is your program! Developing strong black & double black diamond race inspired all-mountain skiers is the goal of this program mixing in some gate training with lots of technical skiing off the race course too. Ultimately, honing skills for alpine racing and all mountain skiing will be a big focal point for participants. If your child really enjoys skiing with some speed and stays mostly on the groomed, steeper, more difficult trails, this is a great fit for them. Alpental ARC participants can expect to be in the gates (training courses) less than West ARC.
On a typical day, skiers in the Alpental ARC program will do tactical gate training in the morning session and technical freeskiing after lunch. On a powder day, well heck, we just ski powder!
This program participates in two race events. Students are not required to race (small race fee is extra), however, the program does not conduct regular lessons on these days. Coaches guide their students through the race day.
